Spectral Sciences, Inc. awarded START Program Stage I grant

Marsha Fox and Pajo Vujkovic-Cvijin received a Phase I START award check from MassVentures on 7/25/2017.

MassVentures, a venture capital firm focused on early-stage, high-growth Massachusetts startups, has announced that Spectral Sciences, Inc. has been selected for a $100,000 START Program Stage I grant in 2017. The grant is for the development of a multi-functional imaging sensor for vision-guided Artificial Intelligence (AI) -based robotic systems. This multi-functional imager provides information on (1) shape and motion of the object, (2) spectral content (infrared “color” per image pixel), and (3) acoustic content (vibration spectrum per image pixel). The sensor is a single integrated instrument which acts as wide-range “eyes and ears” of a smart robotic system.
