- Gas Turbine Engine Diagnostics
The SSI instrument development effort is geared towards solving problems by making measurements. SSI has developed both active and passive optical sensing technology and built custom ground- and aircraft-based instruments for sensing gaseous species including.
SSI has developed optical gas correlation sensors for pollution monitoring and incorporated them in various field measurement campaigns. These include measurements of rocket plumes, and in-situ measurements on their own custom-built RPV's (remotely piloted aircraft).
