Dr. Fred Hawes joined Spectral Sciences as a Senior Scientist in July 2019. He is currently working on incorporating numerical weather simulation data into atmospheric characterization codes, to improve predictions of RF propagation in naval environments. His graduate research was concerned with applications of the Dyson-Schwinger Equations in strong coupling quantum field theory and hadron phenomenology. Before attending graduate school, he was a member of the technical staff at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory for 10 years.
