B.S. (Geomatics Engineering) University of Tehran, 2011
Dr. Amir Souri is a remote sensing scientist at Spectral Sciences, Inc., specializing in remote sensing, radiative transfer, atmospheric modeling, and machine learning. Before joining SSI, he conducted research at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center and the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics, developing advanced algorithms for satellite observations, atmospheric composition, and geophysical retrievals.
His expertise spans physics-based modeling, inverse methods, data assimilation, and artificial intelligence, with applications to satellite and airborne observing systems. He has led multiple NASA‑funded projects and published more than 20 first‑author journal papers. His current research focuses on planetary radiative transfer modeling, computer vision, and sensor feasibility and detectability analysis.
