Burlington-based Spectral Sciences, Inc. has been awarded the 2014 James S. Cogswell Outstanding Industrial Security Award from the Defense Security Service (DSS). Spectral Sciences is one of 40 defense contractors selected for this prestigious award out of more than 13,000 companies nationwide. Spectral Sciences previously won this award in 2009.
